With Trekkers Hike and Cave adventures you will experience one of Barbados' best kept secrets, as our professional and informative guides take you on this mild trek into the most natural and interesting environs on the island. You will be taken through 'Harris' or 'Jack-in-the-Box Gully', where you will be enthralled by the towering trees, hanging vines, rare palms and unusual rock formations.

With safety in mind... your eco trail expedition starts with the donning of safety helmets, headlamps, a safety briefing, followed by a short history of the area and information on the cave.

Now you are all geared up... informed and ready to go on your underground exploration which begins with a rope assisted decent into the cavern leading to Coles Cave.

Trekkers Hike and Cave Tours, journeys into the depths of our island, giving you different perspective of Barbados. As you gain this deeper experience you will marvel at the naturally formed sculptures within the walls of this hidden treasure. Trekking through streams of the refreshing spring water and listening to the therapeutic sound of waterfalls filling the naturally formed pools will give you such a feeling of peace as you travel along the corridor of the system. You will not want to leave...

After this unforgettable experience you return to the surface for some light refreshments.

Requirements:

• Wear casual clothing & enclosed comfortable footwear with a good grip. (e.g. sneakers, hiking boots).
• NOT recommended for pregnant women, or persons with wrist, back, hip and or knee problems.
• Age Limit: 12 years and older
• Weight Limit: None. (persons may be required to bend under ledges and to fit through small spaces at least 2¼ feet from the ground during the tour).
• We reserve the right to refuse persons who do not comply with our set safety standards.

- Prepare to get wet and dirty
- Recommended for persons who are adventurous, physically fit and lovers of nature.
