Six Men's Bay

In a quaint little fishing village in Barbados you will find the rustic Six Men’s Bay Beach, a picturesque bay with mixed sea conditions and some undertow.

Home to a tiny fish market, this bay has become a popular spot used by artist and photographers to capture the raw essence of a fishing village, while taking advantage of the perfect pictorial of the bobbing fishing boats seaward, set against a beautiful sunset.

In the Six Men’s Bay area you will experience the hospitality Barbados is known for, making it easy for you to mingle with the locals and the fisher folks, who are always willing to share information about the village or the island.

If you should become hungry or thirsty, there are places offering food and drink on sale in the area. For a true bajan experience, visit Six Mens for the weekend Fish Fry, a favourite with locals in the north.

Six Men’s Bay Beach can be found on the Caribbean Sea side of the island, on the North-west Coast of Barbados in the parish of St Peter.
