Bajan Highlights: DURATION: 3 ½ Hrs
This exciting and comprehensive tour takes you on a journey to some of Barbados' best spots! The drive north takes in the entire west coast of the island with its stunning beaches and sparkling waters. The experienced driver will give a continuous microphone commentary, pointing out historic sites such as Holetown, where the first settlers landed and Speightstown, the island's second largest town, built around a fishing village.

Turning inland from the coast, the first stop is at Farley Hill National Park, a serene wooded hillside area with a commanding view of the east coast and the remains of a beautiful Georgian mansion which has hosted many British royals in the past, before being destroyed by fire in 1965, shortly after it was used in the filming of the movie "Island in the Sun."

On leaving Farley Hill, the tour continues along the rugged east coast, where the surf pounds to the shore. This is the Atlantic side of the island with Bathsheba being the venue of several international surfing competitions. St. John's Church is the second stop, where guests may wander through the church and grounds. The church is a classic Gothic church set on Hackleton's cliff, overlooking the east coast.

Inside are many antiques, maps dating back to 1763, and a unique collection of horse drawn carriages, artifacts and memorabilia.

The return journey passes Boarded Hall, Two Mile Hill, the residence of the Prime Minister, Belleville, Lower Collymore Rock, Bay Street and Bridgetown with a history and charm that will captivate you!
