The family migrated to Barbados from Sweden in 1984 with two Swedish Warmblood horses and started the operation which included breeding of riding and sports horses several of which have been exported to the USA and UK as Performance and Competition Horses. The management team are among the elite of Caribbean Equestrian Administrators and Trainers.

The focus is on fun and safe adventure tours for any age children and adults, beginners or advanced riders, on well educated and confident horses, guided by knowledgeable horse enthusiasts both on and around the horses. We are happy to cater to special requests whether trail riding or riding lessons, whatever your imagination can perceive, we will do our best to bring into reality!

WE TEACH!
Ride Barbados is a member of the Barbados Equestrian Association and does English riding only. Hard hats are obligatory on all rides and will be supplied by the Centre.

Private Lessons in both Show Jumping and Dressage can be arranged. Our In-House Instructors compete up to the standard of Prix St George & Intermediare 2 in Dressage and they form part of the 2003 Barbados Dressage Team at the Pan American Games.

RIDE BARBADOS HORSE RIDING TOURS
Providing horse riding tours on the natural heritage trails of the breathtaking East Coast of Barbados, for both tourists and locals, became part of the Ride Barbados in 1987. Because of the already high standards set, the excursions received recognition locally and internationally thereby increasing their popularity beyond expectations.
