"The smell of Barbados still lingers in my nose. What a beautiful and wonderful place. There is no place like it on earth. If one gets the chance St Lawerence Gap is a must! The parties, the people and not forgetting the rum!!!"
       - Rebecca (Birmingham) was here for 2 weeks. (Secret No. 239).

"Barbados is truly paradise. The locals make it so wonderful. I had the privilage of living on the Island for about 1 1/2 years, so I'm sorta a Bajan. I've returned six times and will be returning in October and hopefully, it will become my home within the next 4/5 years."

I came to Bim the first time in the winter 1992, and have been back almost every winter since that, I just LOVE that island,it have every thing, culture, music, the lovely people, nice hotels and VERY NICE beaches.
The west coast is my favorite place, I used to live in Sunset Crest. If you ever get the chance,go to Barbados, THE place on earth!!"

"Best secrets from our two week stay in your wonderful country: 1) Archie - our constant cab driver, friend and guide throughout our stay. 2) The fine, friendly people at Treasure Beach who arranged our small wedding as if it was for one of their own family. 3) Lunch in the rum shops. 4) A fantastic new sunset every night on the west coast. 5) Cricket! If you're from the states, get the book "Cricket for Americans", read it ahead of time, and then on your first night in Barbados, ask any bartender what local matches are being played over the next few days. Instead of going into Bridgetown to the national cricket pitch (field), find your way to an afternoon cricket match between local rivals, grab a bit of shade, buy a flying fish sandwich at Chefette to carry in and get a frosty Banks beer at the match....then, ask all the questions about the sport you need answered and find out how wonderful and fun the Bajans are! We saw our first match at The Maples near Holetown, and were so welcome. I must say that in many travels to other countries, I have never felt so immediately at ease with a people as we were from the first with all the Bajans we met. We'll be back as soon as possible!"
       - K.M. Moreland (Lexington, KY) was here for 2 weeks. (Secret No. 93).

"I was in Barbados in June, 2001. You see I was there to get married. I couldn't think of any other place on earth to get married than the beautiful, breathtaking island in the sun where I was born 39 years ago. Yes...I'm a Bajan Yankee. Now my husband wants to go back every six months which is just fine with me."
       - Alene Myers (Delaware, U.S.) was here for a week. (Secret No. 258).
