Heywoods Beach

Heywoods Beach Just on the outskirts of Speightstown is Heywoods Beach, a popular beach in Barbados with the northern crowd, situated beachfront to the Almond Beach Village Hotel Resort and next to the Port St Charles Marina.

Heywoods beach is lined with trees for shade, and experiences clear waters and small waves most of the year with very little undertow

This golden sandy beach is nice for swimming and snorkeling, with areas of shallow natural reef pools close to shore for both kids and adults to enjoy.

Heywoods beach also has some watersports activity, and attracts both locals and visitors on the island, especially guest from the hotel.

For those who might need something to nibble on, there is food and drinks available in the area.

Heywoods Beach can be found on the Caribbean Sea side of the island, on the North-west Coast  of Barbados in the parish of St Peter.
