Oistins Beach in Barbados is made up of two bays and is situated in the busy
Oistins Town & Fishing Village.
The waters here are mostly calm with the occasional choppy seas.
Oistins Beach is divided into two bays, separated by rocks and the jetty servicing the fish market.
On the right of the market and jetty is a quiet bay located just in front of the main shopping area
Southern Plaza.
On the left is a little harbour which mainly anchors fishing boats. This bay also fronts the
Oistins Bay Garden, home to the popular
Oistins Fish Fry on weekends.
The bay garden is open day and night, so if you need to get a bite or something to drink, this is the place to go. There are lots of bajan delicacies for you to try.
Oistins beach is also surrounded by lots of rum shops, bars, restaurants, holiday accomodations and other services.
Oistins Beach can be found on the Caribbean side of the island, on the
South Coast of Barbados in the parish of Christ Church.
