Freshwater Bay Beach is a quiet, tranquil little bay with calm clear waters, little to no undertow, and is ideal for snorkeling and swimming.
The beach itself has very little activity, but you will see catamarans sailing by and fishing boats entering and exiting the neighbouring fishing bay. This bay is also home to Freshwater Bay Apartments and a few beach houses.
At the south end of the beach, separated by boulders is a quaint little fishing village where fishermen hangout.
Other west coast Beaches closebyLocated to the north separated by rocks is
Paradise beach, followed by
Batts Rock beach. To the south is another small bay called
Pile Bay which is also separated by rocks, and next to it is
Brighton_beach.
