Browne's Beach

Browne's Beach At Browne’s Beach in Barbados you will experience one of the most picturesque beaches on the south coast.

This long beach is located in the Carlisle Bay area and offer beach goers’ calm, crystal clear waters with small waves and almost no undertow.

Brownes Beach is ideal for swimming, snorkeling, scuba diving and has the perfect setting for sunset photos and a lovely view of the many yachts and fishing boats in the Carlisle Bay.

Many Catamaran Cruises make this beach one of their stops when sailing. This area is also one of the few openings to the sea on the island, where you can see the beach from a major Highway.

At the south end of Browne’s beach is an Esplanade with benches and is popular with the locals for barbecues and other small events.

Seaside are a number of beach bars and beachfront restaurants as well as a couple locations offering snorkeling, kayaking and scuba diving services.

Due to the length and popularity of Browne’s beach there are two lifeguard stations, one at the northern end and the other in the middle, where the facilities and car park is located.

Brownes Beach can be found on the South-west Coast of Barbados in the Parish of St Michael.
